What Peel Smart Remote TV Guide is

I installed the Google Play app for the purpose of operating my TV and getting listings. However, I was excited to learn that I could use it the app on other devices apart from my TV. The app can also be used for controlling home appliances such as heaters and air conditioners and other devices like Apple TV, set-top box, Roku, DVD player and Blu-ray among others as long as your phone has a built-in IR blaster.

Both the Google Android and iOS versions of this app have numerous useful features. First and foremost, when the app is connected to your service provider, it is capable of showing you all the TV programs that are running at a certain time. All you have to do is to pick one you are interested in watching and enjoy yourself. The great thing about this feature is that there is no coding involved in connecting the app to your cable provider. Once the app has information about your provider and your location, it will provide you with all available TV listings. In addition to this, there is a ‘favorite’ feature which allows you to save all your preferred channels for faster and more convenient access.

Whether you are subscribed to Hulu, Apple TV, Roku, Netflix or any other streaming service, you can be assured you will never get bored while using this app. Whenever you want something good to watch or simply need quick access to your favorite shows, you can do it through this free iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Android app. My mark of this point is 9/10.

Interface

The app is designed to give you a seamless and wireless experience through all your connected devices. It is easy to use and provides you will all the information you need to be thoroughly entertained. You can choose your device and instantly connect to it from a long list of supported devices. The app gives you the option to control multiple devices simultaneously from a single page rather than individual pages for each device. The app features an up-to-date guide for all your favorite programs or you can choose to browse through the different channels separately. The score of the interface is 9/10!

Performance and Usability

If you have something to say about this app and make own review – write me.

Although it is feature-heavy, this app has an easy-to-navigate interface that is simple and self-explanatory. I like the fact that the different functions are within dedicated menus. This prevents the interface from being too crowded and busy. The app also has great performance; I have not experienced any challenges using it on any of my devices. I like that the developers constantly update the app with new improvements. However, it uses up a lot of battery power when in use. 7.5/10.

Cross-Platform Use

The app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. And due to this my mark is 9/10!

The Verdict

I absolutely love Peel Smart Remote TV Guide. It is easy to use, doesn’t contain in-app purchases, and most importantly, it works on both iDevices and Android. I would recommend it to anyone who loves watching TV or anyone who would like to experience their TV differently. You will not regret using this leading app. You can get the latest version on either the App Store or Google Play.

I’ll test your utility app for its functionality, usability and consistency. I provide manual testing on Android and iOS – the physical devices, and use emulators for other OSes.
